Then you could be our next Village Agent.

Age Concern Hampshire is recruiting volunteers in rural areas to help connect older and other vulnerable people in their community to local services and information. Village Agents work to reduce social isolation and help people stay independent in their own homes for as long as possible. Training and support is provided for the network of Village Agents across the county.

  • Defibrillator The committee have purchased a defibrillator which has been mounted to the right of the front door, on the outside of the building. It can be used by any member of the public in the event of a suspected cardiac arrest. All group leaders that meet at the hall have been offered training on how to use the defibrillator but it is stressed that no prior training is required. Instructions on how to access the defibrillator are on the outside of the box. On calling 999 a code will be given to access the equipment.
  • The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) in Franklin Avenue, Tadley is open to the public as a drop-in service during:- Monday & Thursday 10am-3:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 10am-1pm. They are also open for appointments only on Thursday evenings at 6pm. They can provide advice by e-mail just visit their website http://www.basingstokeandtadleycab.org.uk and fill in one of the enquiry forms.   • Allotments are available at Pamber Park for a small annual rental. Contact Maurice Biggs on 0118 981 1438.
